2021 Rôtie Syrah follows the tradition of Côte-Rôtie in the Rhône Valley, where Syrah is co-fermented with a small percentage of Viognier to bring lift, aromatic complexity, and elegance to the wine.
For this vintage, we co-fermented with 6% Viognier, adding brightness and floral nuance to the depth and structure of the Syrah.The result is expressive and layered, with notes of saturated raspberry coulis, violets, black pepper, rich cherry liqueur, potpourri, and cracked peppercorn.
