The Vineyards

Where Fog, Wind, and Heritage Shape Every Vine
Nestled within the cool-climate corridor of the Petaluma Gap, our vineyards are more than a place, they’re a living expression of Keller Estate’s dedication to sustainability, precision farming, and deep cultural roots. From fog-kissed mornings to sweeping coastal breezes, every detail in our vineyards tells a story of harmony between land, climate, and the people who care for it.
LA CRUZ VINEYARD
La Cruz Vineyard is our foundation, where the Keller family first planted Chardonnay in 1989. Located on the lower hills of the estate, this vineyard sits just above the Petaluma River, where cool morning fog and steady afternoon winds define the growing season. Once an ancient seabed, the calcium-rich clay soils here impart a signature minerality and freshness to our white wines. Today, La Cruz produces not only our elegant Chardonnay, but also Pinot Gris, Viognier, and Pinot Noir, each one shaped by this unique marine-influenced site.
El Coro Vineyard
El Coro Vineyard crowns the highest ridge of our estate at 1,100 feet above sea level. Often rising above the morning fog, this elevated site is sculpted by the Petaluma Gap’s defining winds and planted to nine clones of Pinot Noir. Each block is picked separately at peak ripeness and fermented with care, allowing us to craft expressive, age-worthy wines with structure, complexity, and soul. El Coro means “the choir” in Spanish, a fitting name for a vineyard that sings with nuance and depth.
