The 2022 Keller Estate La Cruz Pinot Noir has aromas of dried cranberry and milk chocolate. In the mouth, the gentle tannins carry flavors like a tomato compote reduced with brown sugar. There is a rustic quality to this wine which holds a tension with its minerality. It reminds me of rosemary sprigs roasted on a flame with hints of black pepper.
