The 2022 Keller Estate El Coro Pinot Noir opens up with a bold blackberry jam nose, followed by black currant, and cassis. There is also a spicy element in the nose, a hint of black pepper. In the mouth, the wine reveals a vanilla custard sweetness which tempers the pepper and blackberry. The tannins are supple and smooth, but persist to give nice length to the finish. This wine will age well. As the fruit abates, the texture and palate length will sustain this wine for a decade.
