The 2025 growing season unfolded with balance and ease.
A cool, rainy winter gave way to a mild spring with very few frost concerns, followed by a temperate summer free of significant heat spikes. This steady rhythm allowed the Sauvignon Blanc grapes to develop slowly and evenly, building flavor, freshness, and varietal expression.
Harvest took place at daybreak on September 3rd, 2025, when the fruit was picked at approximately 22.6 Brix. Once at the winery, the grapes were whole-cluster pressed using a gentle pressing program, then fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve clarity, freshness, and aromatic purity.
After 4.5 months in tank, the wine was bottled on February 10, 2026.
The result is a Sauvignon Blanc that is bright, textural, and deeply refreshing. Aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit, lime zest, and a hint of gooseberry lead into a palate of citrus, crisp nectarine, honeydew melon, savory herbs, and a refreshing saline finish. Semillon brings subtle richness and an elegant, rounded texture, making Gigi both vibrant and deeply satisfying.
With its inaugural release, 2025 Gigi Sauvignon Blanc reflects a season defined by balance, careful timing, and thoughtful winemaking.
