2023 La Cruz Vineyard Pinot Noir

The La Cruz Vineyard Pinot Noir is a blend from blocks surrounding the winery, including clones such as 115, 667, 777, and Pommard. The 2023 growing season was mild with short intervals of heat spikes which kept the growth metrics moving steadily forward, allowing the fruit to complete physiological ripeness without stress. 

Opening with aromas of cherry compote, black tea, hibiscus, ripe strawberries, and a hint of sassafras.  Flavors of fresh raspberries, rose hip, bacon fat and graphite unfold into a rich, plate-coating texture that lingers with firm, yet fine-grained tannins.
