2023 El Coro Vineyard Pinot Noir

The 2023 vintage had a cool, wet Winter and Spring, which relieved the stress from an extended multi-year drought cycle.  September was exceptionally mild for this area, allowing the fruit to complete physiological ripeness without stress. 

This earthy, savory Pinot Noir opens with intoxicating aromas of Bing cherry, boysenberry, Satsuma and smoked meat. The palate explodes with vibrant, juicy flavors of zesty blood orange, cherry reduction, Darjeeling tea, and a hint of toasty oak to add structure and spice. This is a wine for serious Pinot lovers who crave complexity and enjoy tasting the layers as they unfold.
