The Origin: 2025 Gigi Sauvignon Blanc

Every wine begins with a place.

For the inaugural release of 2025 Gigi Sauvignon Blanc, that place is Tres Palmas Vineyard at Hamel Estate, located in Sonoma Valley on the lower slopes of Sugarloaf Ridge — a region often known as “The Valley of the Moon.”

This dry-farmed, certified organic vineyard is shaped by contrast. Warm summer and fall days help develop richness, fruit concentration, and expressive aromatics, while the nearby Pacific Ocean cools the grapes at night and into the morning, preserving their vibrant natural acidity.

The vineyard’s soils, rich with white volcanic ash and basalt gravel, add another layer of character to the wine’s sense of place. These elements — volcanic soils, coastal influence, organic farming, and careful site selection — create the foundation for a Sauvignon Blanc that feels bright, mineral, and beautifully composed.

In its first release, Gigi Sauvignon Blanc captures the beauty of Sonoma Valley through a wine rooted in place: fresh, expressive, and quietly generous.
