2023 Rotie Syrah

The Rotie is unique among the Keller portfolio in that it is co-fermented with ~6% Viognier grapes, in the classic winemaking style of the northern Rhone Valley. The Syrah imparts earthiness, structure and black fruit flavors, while the Viognier adds a beautiful floral quality that makes it starkly different from the equally delicious Precioso Syrah blend.

2023 Rôtie Syrah opens with a captivating aromatic profile of boysenberry, black raspberry, huckleberry, and a subtle hint of leather.  On the palate, this wine unfolds in layers of cassis liquor, dark chocolate, smoked meat, graphite, and dried herbs.
